This post takes me back to almost half a year ago, autumn only started then. I realized I haven’t blogged about this and to not talk about it seems like a waste. I mean, I didn’t take all the pictures for nothing.
So, I had a meet up with Sara, a friend who shares the same interest in foods as I am (we’re huge foodies). Our meeting point was at Shoreditch underground station. I suggested we meet up at Shoreditch since Sara had never wondered about in that awesome place before (I’d forever recommend Shoreditch for a day out, even though I’m not a Londoner).
It was a Sunday afternoon, and Brick Lane Market was happening as usual. We had an amazing walk through the stalls while inhaling all the luscious smell of foods from afar. I mean, we may be foodies, but we’re not gluttons, so we took our time to survey the foods one by one. We then decided to find a cafe to sit first of all – since catching up was a priority, at the time.
I took Sara to Kahaila Cafe; I’d blogged about it in my old blog (I might export the content to this blog later). I’ve been to the cafe twice and I love the cakes selection! My mocha was nice too. Sara had a green tea.
After we had our light lunch, we continued walking through the market.
Then, we found a churros stall and we couldn’t resist. It was £2 each with two fillings, and I had chocolate and caramel in it, while Sara had banana and chocolate.
Mind you, it was my first time eating a churro so I was so excited!

We found T2, as we turned onto Redchurh Street. It’s a shop selling all kind of teas and flavoured ones. We sampled the salted caramel tea latte. I’m not an avid tea drinker but I’m a sucker for anything salted caramel, and I’d have to say that it was really nice.
Crosstown Doughnuts was our last stop, as we were getting full and Sara had to drive home before dark. I’ll make a full post on Crosstown Doughnuts soon!
We also went along the Boxpark (pop-up mall) but I didn’t take picture of it. Perhaps, next time.
It was such a good day. We were bloated with sweetness and we’ll do it again and again. If only both of us aren’t so busy…
Thank you for reading this post.
May you think of happy thoughts always,
