May Favourites

I can’t believe it’s only few days left of Ramadan, and Eid is just around the corner now. The first day of Ramadan feels like yesterday, honestly.

Anyway, here are things that I was quite fond of in the previous month:

  • Perfectil. Been consuming these for the past months and I honestly cannot be happier with my skin condition lately, and I’m 100% sure these tablets are doing something good to it.
  • Culottes. Not everyone like these fashionable baggy sort of crop trousers, but I find them so comfortable. I have few pieces in my wardrobe now and I keep rotating them again and again. I just stopped taking OOTDs at some point because of the repeating outfits!

  • YA Thrillers. I don’t know how exactly to describe my mood nowadays, but all I know is that even when I’m tired working, I’d still fetch one of these YA thriller books to read. They’re currently the reason I’ve been reading so much despite being busy, and I’m not complaining! Even though not all of them ended up as my favourite, I still can’t wait to write reviews on them.

  • Future Learn. Not everyone can afford universities, both money and time wise, and I’m one of them. Though in the midst of making myself busy to make money, I can’t say I don’t miss studying. I do, I actually do. My sister recommended Future Learn to me and seriously, it’s the best website to learn various skills and interests! There are so many to choose from and I’ve been browsing around like a happy little girl watching her favourite show!

  • Last but not least, Marvel. I’ve been a fan since my teen days and after I’ve watched Infinity War, I’m most definitely becoming even more obsessed with it. Anything about MCU, give ’em to me! Talk to me about Marvel, and I shall love you.

Oh by the way, Eid Mubarak in advance to those of you who’ll be celebrating it! ^^

Thank you for reading this post!
May you think of happy thoughts always,
Ain

I hope you thoroughly enjoyed the end of Ramadan! I love culottes too but I find them a little tricky to style sometimes. I’m only 5ft so I have to work a bit harder than most people to balance them out. I’ve always wondered whether pills like that work so it’s amazing that you’re getting results from them! x

I love a YA Thriller too! I really want to read Charlotte Says 🙂 I really like culottes but don’t own a pair unfortunately! xxx

I hope you had a great Ramadan, Ain 💖. I think culottes are really stylish, you look great in them! I’ve also done a couple of Future Learn courses and really enjoyed them. It’s great they are free and available to everyone 😘 xx

I love Future Learn! The diverse range of courses makes my heart sing. There’s so much to try. I’m always excited to check what new courses have been added.

I’m so with you on the Marvel obsession! Since Black Panther and Infinity War I’ve been reading all the interviews, articles and searching for comic recs so I can get more of my fave characters 😁

I have friends who are practicing Ramadan and it’s always interesting to learn about the history behind it. Love that you enjoyed Perfectil! It’s great that you found comfortable clothes :). You’re rocking the look!

FutureLearn is one of my favourite sites – I was literally writing about it in a blog post today! I always love reading people’s favourites to get a glimpse into their life and this did not disappoint!! x

    Eid Mubarak, lovely!
I love YA thrillers, and they’re so underrated! And Marvel, yesss! They’re really trumping DC’s cinematic attempts with their MCU – I just can’t fault it!

Delayed Eid Mubarak! I hope you had an amazing day(s) with your family inshallah! Ramadan went by so quickly, it’s like I blinked and it was gone!

I love seeing people style culottes! But usually my height makes it difficult to have cropped trousers (I’m about 5 feet 5 1/2 inches | 166.37cm) – they look so so comfy though!

Yes books! I have such a long To Be Read list that I should really get started on but usually I’ll find out about a book and forget I have a list of books to be read! I miss reading novels though, nothing is better than envisioning a whole scene created by an author.

Future Learn sounds great to always keep learning even if you’re not in school, good on you for keeping up with learning even though you aren’t currently in University.

MARVEL!! Infinity War was insane – I had a whole marathon of all the movies leading up to watching it – I am still so !!!! about the ending, I really wonder where they’re going to pick it up in the next one though! We know Captain Marvel comes in but how does she come in – so many questions I can’t wait to learn the answer to!

I wish they have Perfectil in Malaysia. I’d love to try it to see any changes in my hair or skin.
My sister lovesssss the Culottes pants. She’s been buying and wearing lots of them lately. And yes she said it was really comfortable.
I never enjoyed thriller novels. Maybe I should try one more time because I think the reason I didn’t enjoy it was because I got the not-so-good books.
You and my male friend, Adam could best friend because he wouldn’t stop talking about Marvel. He’s a huge fan just like you.

I’ve been wanting to read Charlotte Says for a while now but I have yet to see it at a bookstore near me! And yes for the Marvel love – seriously still bummed about Infinity Wars, haha.
