Little Brother is Not So Little Anymore

Have you ever just sat down and thought about how fast time really went by? We can’t even tell it to pause and the next thing you know, it’s ten years later. Ten years (almost) is the age gap between my little brother and I, and I’m still trying to grasp the fact that he’s now in his university era.

I’m not complaining though, as he now lives in my favourite city and I can stay at his new place anytime I want. So, I win!

The first day I visited him, I asked him to show me around. Kingston is a rural area in South West London with a historic town alongside the River Thames, which added an extra charm to its beauty.

Also, Kingston and New Malden (the neighbour town) are such bonus places for Korean things enthusiasts. I was surprised to see how many Korean supermarkets (Oseyo, Seoul Plaza, etc), cafes and restaurants there are in both areas.

Of course we had to have some Korean chickens and Samyang noodles for dinner that night.

We continued our journey around New Malden the next day and we couldn’t resist going into one of the supermarkets to get more snacks and eventually found a cafe that makes bingsoo (shaved ice, Korean dessert). It was so good! I will be writing about it in my next entry. Till then!

Think happy thoughts!

Love, Ain
