LFW: CREATIVETH

Knowing how hectic my February was going to be, I almost had to cancel my participation for London Fashion Week last month. At the time, my mind was sort of all over the place as well. It wasn’t until a week before the event, I got an email from CREATIVETH. It then came back to me that I did apply to volunteer for the event again when the application opened around the end of last year, and I just couldn’t miss the opportunity.

The event was at London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and I haven’t been around Stratford ever since before the lockdown happened, but I’ve managed to arrive there good enough. A long walk from the station to the venue was definitely refreshing.

The fact that the event happened in a stadium meant that I got to see and work around an empty stadium, which was pretty awesome.

As usual, being alone was no fun at the beginning but it’s not long till I’ve seen some familiar faces and made new friends.

Even though my camera was probably the most outdated one out of all the other photographers’ cameras, I think I got the best seat in the section and I’m happy with the result of the photos that I’ve taken.

I’ve uploaded more backstage pictures and the runway show moments in my gallery!

I couldn’t stay until the very end of the show, but the event this time was definitely much more organised and I’ve enjoyed the show. Thank you again CREATIVETH for this opportunity.

Think happy thoughts!

Love, Ain
